In this blog, we will earn the step-by-step procedure to get the BIS Hallmarking License.
Step 1:- Visit Manak Online
Visit the official website of BIS Hallmark, i.e. ManakOnline. Click here to visit the website.
Step 2:- Click on Hallmarking
After doing that you have to click on the Hallmarking button, which will redirect you to the Hallmarking License and Login Webpage
Step 3:- Click on Login
Click on the “Login” button on the top-right corner of the webpage. Which will further redirect you to the “Login Page”
Step 4:- Click on “Create Account”
Just below the “Sign in” button, you will find a “Create Account” button which will redirect you to the “Registration Form” wherein you have to create your username and password.
Step 5- Enter the Details
Now, you have to enter your personal details. In this step, you have to use your official email ID. Please make sure that you use your firm’s email ID or the owner’s official one and not a personal email ID. The Email ID used in this step cannot be changed later.
Step 6- Fill the Application for Jewellers Form
Now, in this step, you have to enter the details of your outlet and the owner’s details. For calculating the Latitude and Longitude you can use Google Maps. Use the pin bar tool to get the exact location of your store.
Step 7:- Upload Mandatory Documents
Now, in this step you have to upload the documents, there are 6 documents which will be required. Here is a list of documents which you can upload for each crieteria.
Proof of establishment:-
i. Certificate of Registration with MOA
ii. Notarised Partnership Deed
iii. GST Registration
Proof of Address:-
i. Rent agreement
ii. Property Tax Receipt
iii. IT Assessment Order
iv. GST Registration
Proof of Identity:-
i. Any Govt. Issued ID like Passport, Adhaar, PAN etc.
Map:-
i. Google Map, image with your shop highlighted near a landmark.
Proof of Turnover:-
i. Self-certified copy of GST
ii. Certificate by the Charted Accountant
Step 8:- Make Payment
In this step you have to make payment for the license, BIS accepts Bank Transfers, Net Banking, Cards as modes of payment.
After completing all these steps, you will soon receive the Grant of Certification on the manakonline portal and the mobile number you added during the account creation process.
